Business finance degree
The main aim of the joint honors degree in Business and Finance is to study two related disciplines you are interested in. You will study roughly equal amounts of Business and Finance in your degree with option modules allowing you to continue with equal amounts or to focus on one area slightly more than the other. The option modules also allow you to develop other skills such as European languages.

Finance MBA degree:
The philosophy of the MBA Finance is to provide broad based postgraduate management studies, following on from undergraduate programs, which allow for a focus on areas of finance relevant to Business and management. The aim of the program is to assist students with their career development.
Entry requirements:
For entry, you should normally have an Honors degree or an equivalent qualification acceptable to Coventry Business School. For applicants whose first language is not English, proof of proficiency in English will be required. Applicants will normally have a minimum of two years' post experience.
Course content:
The course consists of taught modules and a dissertation. Core taught modules cover the main functional areas of business and management, other modules relate to financial areas and one prepares students for writing their dissertation. Entry to the course is usually possible in September or February.
Finance M. Sc degree:
This program provides students with an opportunity to develop their studies in the area of finance but within a managerial context. The emphasis of M.Sc Finance is on interpreting, evaluating and communicating financial information for strategic and managerial purposes. In addition, students will also have the opportunity to take specialist options in the areas of investment and risk management techniques in financial markets.
The program seeks to enhance students knowledge and skills of critical analysis through an in-depth study of key issues for example, corporate financial management, international financial markets, emerging markets finance and financial derivatives. Real-time data provided by Reuters Financial Database is utilized to expose students to real world financial practices and techniques that they will experience when working in the financial sector. Students can therefore acquire relevant practical skills and transferable skills that should be of great value when seeking future employment.

The M.Sc Finance program is especially designed for students aspiring to careers in the Financial Services, Corporate Finance, and Treasury or Banking sectors.
