The commission should not be too low or too high. If the real estate agent quotes a high commission the clients will flock to a rival. On the other hand, if he wants a very low commission that will make the buyers suspicious. Hence it will be advisable for him to quote a price that follows the recent market trend. As a matter of fact, an experienced agent charge higher commissions compared to the novice ones.

Building a good reputation in the regional real estate market is very important if a real estate agent wants to stay in the trade for long. Every person whether he wants to buy a house or sell it wants to work with a reliable agent. A client is likely to verify the credentials of a real estate agent before agreeing to a deal with him. Therefore, an agent should be careful enough to treat each client with equal care and professionalism.
