Army finance school
The US Army Solider Support Institute had started army finance school, which was recently relocated from Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana to Fort Jackson, South Caroline. The institute provides training to the U.S. Army Financial Corps personnel. In the year 2001, a memorandum was signed between the Webster University and the U.S. Army Solider Support Institute. As per this agreement, the officers, who were attending the Finance Captain Career Course (FCCC) were asked to compete for completing a Master of Arts degree in Finance. This course was to be completed, while attending the FCCC.
Later this agreement was amended to provide the officials with a chance to complete MBA. Moreover, the Master of Arts in Management and Leadership course was also included in the program. The cooperative degree program, which was introduced, has been developed in agreement with the American Council on Educations Joint Statement on the Transfer and Award of Credit. The curriculums of the Webster University and the FCCC have been evaluated to ensure educational quality, level of the learning experiences and content. The experienced and knowledgeable faculty information from the program catalogues and the academic administrators from both the institutions guided in developing the programs.
When an individual wishes to seek admission, he has to fulfill a few criteria for being enrolled in the institution. The student must have completed a bachelors degree from a university or college, which is accredited in the region from where the individual belongs. It is accepted even if the Webster University and official transcript reflecting conferral degree must be submitted. An application form of the Webster University graduate school must be filled and submitted with an application fees. There is no requirement of letters of recommendation. The applicants are not required to complete any of the separate graduate exams like Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), Graduate Record Exam (GRE), or the Millers Analog Test (MAT). The post graduates, who are assigned to the fort Jackson for Finance Officers Advance Course (FOAC), can also apply for this course. The postgraduate students of FOAC and FCCC, who are assigned to the other military installments, are also permitted to apply for the courses. But there admissions will be finalized, only if they fulfill the required admission criteria. The students also have a loan option, to pay their tuition fees.
