Big lottery fund
The Big Lottery Fund is a government created organization in the UK. It covers the four countries of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Big Lottery Fund was established on 1 December 2006 by the National Lottery Act 2006 by merging together the former UK Lottery distributors Community Fund and New Opportunities Fund. This organization was set up to grant funds for good causes after the creation of the National Lottery in the UK.
