In blow out whole tire gotdamaged in bigger proportion, cause of such blowouts is driving vehicle at highspeed with less pressured tires as less pressured tire get heated up easily andmore rapidly, which burns the rubber and air leaks out with a explosion if thedriver continues to operate the vehicle which leads to tires blowout. Blown outtire must be replaced. In most of the cases reason for blow out was found to beits air valve stem, air leaks out of damaged valve stem leading to air losswhich causes blowout. To replace valve stem take off the tire from the rim the,then remount it after valve replacement. Occasionally other kind of damagenecessitates substitution of a tire.

With advancement in technology some current cars and trucks are fitted witha special kind of tire (with run flat tires). With these tires one can drivewith a punctured tire upto a distance of 100 km. this leads to time savage inurgent situations also tow service or tire change expenses with eliminatingurgent stops.

Automobiles usually bear an extra tire, which is already fitted on arim; such extra tires can be used in conditions of blowout or puncture. In mostcars these tires are smaller then their normal tires to save trunk space,weight and cost, these are also called up as doughnuts. But with these tiresvehicles must not be driven for long runs and should be replaced with a normalsize tire. All tires lose some amount of air simultaneously; at this point ABS pressuresensing system fails. That why USgovt. rejected ABS Tires Pressure Monitoring System. As from September 2007 allcars and light vehicles must have a direct tire pressure monitoring system.These are currently, 2006, battery powered sensors in the wheel transmitting toa dashboard mounted display.
