INTRODUCTION:

Days are gone when people used to travel on the bullock carts and animals for long time may be for a week time or the month,with the invention of the vehicle life had been made easy man can travel long bistance within a hour time,but there is also risk in the vehicle by which our life and environment can be effected to avoid such situation vehicle owners must compulsory check and inspect their vehicle at certain intervals.In somecountries government had made mandatory for every vehicle owner to provide the cretificate of fitness and pollution free certificate on demand or else the vehicle will be ceased or fined.

VEHICLE INSPECTION :

An inspection is most generally an organised examination or formal evaluatin exercise,it involves the measurement tests and gauges of the vehicle. The results are usually compared to specified requirements and standards for determining whether the vehicle is in good condition to ply on the road. Normally vehicle inspection is a procedure made cumpulsory by national or subnational governments in many countries in which a vehicle is inspected to ensure that it conforms to regulations governing safety, emissions, or both. Inspection can be required at various times for example periodically or on transfer of ownership of the vehicle. If vehicle is inspected or checked periodically it is often termed periodic motor vehicle inspection typical intervals are every two years and every year. In some countries the government checks the proof of inspection before a vehicle licence or license plate can be issued or renewed. In others, once a vehicle passes inspection, a decal is attached to the windshield of the vehicle and police can enforce the inspection law by seeing whether the vehicle displays an up-to-date decal. In the case of a vehicle lacking a windshield (e.g., a trailer or motorcycle), the decal is typically attached to the vehicle body.

Inspections are usually not destructive rather inspection is required at all levels in society to ensure that most laws are enforced as fairly and efficiently as possible thus ensuring safety and security for the citizens. Normally government officials or private inspectors are employed for assessing or testing the auto or the vehicles. These inspectors are highly trained personnel who are entrusted with the job of assessing and generating reports about the condition of the vehicle. These reports in turn help people to abide by the rules and regulations set by the authorities or the government. Thus a lot of unnecessary expenses are reduced by timely inspection.The main purpose of inspection is to ensure that safety standards are adhered to, both at the public and personal level. During the investigation if the inspector notices low standards about the vehicle condition certain corrective measures are taken immediately to recover the vehicle .In all inspections standards of compliance in accordance with the state are ensured. Therefore a good inspection guarantees public safety by enforcing municipal and state regulations typically for construction activities of the society.

4. Life safety: by inspecting the vehicle at regular interval we can save our ownlife by avoiding break fails and skiding of the vehicle tyre,in many cases due to looseing of the vehicle control major death accident are occuring.

Vehicle inspection must be done atleast halfyearly or once in a year,inspecting vehicle helps not only us but also the other by avoiding the air pollution,and accidents on the road. Vehicle inspection helps us to avoid future disaster for our life or vehicle,if inspection is not done at regular time the vehicle will start functioning abnormally such as low pickup,difficulting in starting,low milage,no proper balancing of the vehicle,suddenly getting off while running on the road by which serious accidents may occur....
