History of easter

Easter is a traditional festival that is celebrated by the Christians. Easter signifies the Resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ. History of Easter comes on a Sunday as Sunday is considered as holy day and God’s day in Christianity. On Easter all the Christians enjoys the early services meditating the wonderful work of Jesus on Calvary and

his resurrection on the third day overcoming the pangs of death. According to the scriptures day is considered after a sun set. So, the Saturday i.e. day before Easter many Christians arrange services in which they baptize the sinners who are willing to lead a holy life. Christians enjoys Easter by getting Easter eggs which symbolizes the new born i.e. Jesus came to life again as a new born, Easter cake which symbolizes the celebration and accompanied by a feast. All the Christians wear a perfect outfit as it is a celebrating festival.

In some countries before the Easter day parents in each family gets eggs and hide them in different places at home. On the early hours history of Easter day all the kids rush to find all the eggs that are hidden. This will be an enjoyable family time in every family. In this busy and developing world people doesnt find time to spend with their families and share love and concern for their family members. So, during festivals all the families will have time to get together and share love and care for each other. Parents explain their children the love of Jesus and the importance of the Easter. All the families will have a cake cutting time to enjoy the occasion.

History of easter

History of Easter is a traditional festival that is coming from past ages since Jesus died and been resurrected. According to the prophets who had written the Holy Bible Jesus came to this world in the form of a small boy to cleanse sins of the entire man kind. According to scriptures and beliefs of man kind for every sin that a person commits he/she has to be punished. Every wrong doing is being punished in this world like stealing,

killing, doing adultery, cheating etc. The people who ever do such things are punished for this is a law to protect man kind. Wrong doings are not to be done. All these wrong doings are called sins. So, sinners should be punished. According to scriptures The wages of sin is death. So, the people in olden days used to place their hands on an unblemished lamb and leave all the sins on it and would kill it as a sacrifice for their sins. People believed this was the law from God. They believed that god will accept their sacrifice and forgive all their sins.

Advent of jesus christ

As the sins in this world has grown higher and higher and people started to forget the real God and make their own images of God to worship. Instead of getting anger God loved this world and sent his only begotten son as a living sacrifice for all the sins of man kind. He was Jesus Christ born in the form of a small baby boy to a virgin. His birth was also a holy for he is Holy. Jesus came to this earth as a small child to go through all the difficulties of man kind and live an exemplary life to teach all the man kind the truth. Jesus Christ was born to Mary who lived in Nazareth in Jerusalem. She was conceived by the Power of the Holy Ghost. Jesus at his age of 33 and a half started his preaching of warning the people of their sins and tell the true and correct way to lead ones life. He revealed himself as Son of God. But some of the people did not accept him as a Son of God and was jealous that he was gaining many followers and plotted a plan to kill him.

Plot

They who plotted the plan used one of Jesus disciples to help them to arrest Jesus and charge a wrong doing against him and kill him. As Jesus came to this world to be a sacrifice for all the sins of man kind their plan succeeded and Jesus was arrested. Jesus was taken to the King Pilot who was not willing to kill or arrest him for he did not find any fault in Jesus. But, due to some of the people and the officials protest the King gave an order to crucify Jesus Christ. Jesus was an unblemished lamb died for the sins of all man kind. Jesus was mocked and bruised by all the Roman soldiers who followed the orders of some officials who were against Jesus and evil doers.

Crucifixion

After bearing all the mockery and blooded bruise Jesus was made to carry his cross i.e. two logs of wood joined perpendicularly used to hang a person on it. Jesus was nailed on the cross. He had to suffer the whole thing just because of all the sins of man kind. Jesus Died on the cross proclaiming last seven words which are considered as the most precious words. Jesus asked God his Father to forgive the soldiers and the officials for they do not know what they were doing. Jesus stood on the cross as a symbol of Love. God loved all the people of this world so he sent his son as a lamb to die for all their sins.

Ressurection

Jesus, when alive told his disciples and his followers that a time was going to come in which the Son of God will be surrendered to the persecutors to death and will be risen on the third day. So, the women followers of Jesus remembered his sayings and rushed to the tomb where Jesus was buried and found the tomb empty. That day Jesus broke the pangs of death and came to life again and appeared to all his followers. This day was considered as the day of festival called Easter, the day of Resurrection of Jesus Christ the Lord and savior of all man kind.

The date of Easter varies from year to year based upon the day of Passover festival that is celebrated by the Jews. It is recorded that the day when Jesus was arrested was a Passover day and Jesus died on that following day. So, based on the Passover festival that varies according to the full moon Easter festival is being celebrated.
