Yes mate I got it working thanks, like I said "Unpublished the module and the error stopped." So the reason the bug occurs in IE 7 is if the popin tag is published in the frontpage article and in a module published on the frontpage and the same time.

ok I was wrong, the problem still exists and IE7 just aborts when the popin tag is published. I removed all white space but this made no difference, is there any other way around this bug?
