How can I define the alt attribute within the <img> tag ?
It always adds alt="" to the code.

Edit:
I'm now using the builtin mainmenu module and have made my image menu with the icons parameter. So this "main menu images module" is useless for me.

Good luck to you. Our menu is a very small hack of the original menu module, which simply removes any text. We're sorry you didn't find it useful.
