Is it possible to remove the short line between Menu Items?

I'm using Main Menu Images for a menu on a black background. I'm using Legacy Horizontal format and have bullets hidden. There is a short white line between the menu items aligned with the bottom of the images. You can see it at www418.pair.com/cmitwex1/www.reedandpeta...mp;id=6&Itemid=2

I'm not quite sure. I've seen it with Google Chrome and IE, and it shows up only on Chrome. Best is to check the CSS with FireBug to see what is generating the white line and then change it accordingly in your template.
