I should say this is the best module-wise solution for menus with images in Joomla, but I can't find any way to attach drop-downs.

I have 3 main buttons made with this module that work just fine, and each of them have a few subs but I can't find any options to show the subs on rollover. Subs should be text/css only (no images here) created dynamically according to the menu settings.

Any suggestions?

This menu is for mostly static images instead of your menu. You can create rollover images, but it is not very practical and not very dynamic either, because you'll have to do it with CSS.
