Thanx, Tuxist!

Will definitely use the updated module in future projects.

Quite Possibly I'm missing something, but I still have a problem. With IE8 only. FF displays correctly.

I use 4 menus. I've installed the new patch from Tuxist. The submenus are fine between my menus normally. The forth menu is hidden until a user logs in, and that's when the fun begins. The minute that menu is displayed, every submenu below it gets shifted down one position.

I have the module installed 4 times named slide_menu1 through 4, and each menu assigned to one of them. Other than that, I have not modified files.

The html source code clearly shows the correct submenus for js failover, so it knows where they *should* go.

Feel free to try it in both Firefox (correct display) and IE 8. Actually now the sub menus seem to be permanently switched between menu 1 and 2 and still move when menu 4 is enabled.

Still have the same problem. sub-menus appear under different top menus on different pages in IE8. It appears (but it's a moving target) that if I'm on a page from the second menu level, the sub menus go to the correct locations.

This appears to be a bug in IE 8. I have also used IE 6, IE 7, FF 3, FF 3.5, Safari 3 and all display the menus correctly.

Bug or not, I'm going to have to abandon this extension if a workaround can not be found. No one can afford to abandon the largest part of their audience.

Well it is an IE8 problem, because IE7 works fine. I would suggest inserting an IE7 compatibility tag ...

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" />

Insert that into the head of your template.

As much as we would like to and although we make every effort, we cannot keep up with all the requests, changes, new browsers, etc
