i m not able to send the activation link to the users after filling up the 'registration form'
i m building the site on my localhost now.
what settings i m supposed to make in Global Configuration->Mail Settings?
right now my settings are

Mailer : sendmail
Mail from : me@gmail.com
From Name : edumca
Sendmail path :usr/sbin/sendmail
SMTP Authentication : yes
SMTP Username : me@gmail.com
SMTP Password : pass
SMTP Host : gmail.com

please suggest a solution
