We have been testing further and are seeing the same type of behaviour whereby ANY element or module that was designed to show youtube information, makes IE7 hang. I have been in touch with others and to my amazement, it isn't Joomla alone that has this problem. In short, IE7 strikes again.... Pity too many people are using this.
