I am having a problem in which I cannot change the Module Class Suffix in the parameters of the module.

The suffix is preset to _menu and I would like the field to be blank so it picks up the DIV styling I have in a sliding tabbed area. However, when I empty the field and hit "apply" or "save" the field automatically loads itself with the "_menu" suffix and the display isn't as I would like it.

Now if I enter another suffix such as _menu2, it will hold onto that entry, but in order to achieve the display I want in the tabbed area, I need to leave the parameter blank.

The website is cityofsavage.com and the module is placed in the third column of the McColl Pond ELC tab on the home page.

Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Ideally, I need the Module Class Suffix field to remain blank

That's strange. Maybe its taking the default parameter. Can you try changing the default parameter in the modules XML file to blank?

Well that seemed to do the trick. I changed the XML file as you suggested and the issue is solved.

I can easily add a different suffix as well. I placed a second instance of the module in a different location and assigned a custom module suffix and it seemed to work just fine. So setting the default parameter in the XML file to blank seems to be a good thing.
