Problems with changing and ordering entries 3 Years, 6 Months ago

Hi,
First of all this is a great module.
But i have a problem with ordering and changing the entries i put in the proposed field.
Yesterday i put 2 content item ids in the proposed field ... so far everything worked without problems... the 2 entries were shown on the frontpage.... now i tried to change the order but no matter which option i chose nothing changed...
Well... as far as there are only two entries its not such a big problem.
Today i wanted to add a third content item id ... so far so good... i saved the changes and switched to the frontpage and reloaded it... nothing happend... back to the backend the 3 ids were in the proposed field... so the changes were saved, but not stored on the mainpage.
Is there anything i didnt consider?
Please help me
edit: ok... i reinstalled the module... everything worked without a problem... then i translated the Title of the Module in Joomfish... and bam... same problem as before... i found out, that changes are only accepted for the not translated version... for example the title i told the module to show on the frontpage is "Latest News" so i had to translate this title in german for my german version of the page and in french for my french version of the page... the only version that worked without problems was the not-translated english one.
Some ideas, how i could solve the problem?

One of the parameters in the module is the Sort Order of the articles. There should be a number of options for sorting.
As for the changes not loading, do you have caching switched on? You possibly need to wait for your cache to expire or switch off caching temporarily.

Hi Indemnis,
can you describe exactly which version of Joomla and Joomfish you are using so that we may replicate and try to fix the problem.
Thanks

Well, i use Joomla 1.5.5 Stable and joomfish 2.0 beta
I figuered out that the problem is, that joomfish creates a copy of config file from the module for each language, but it doesnt sync them with the original config file. only the not-translated sites/plugins/modules still use the original config file... so maybe it is not your problem at all but the problem of the joomfish developers...
Maybe u know a solution for my problem... but i will also try to contact the joomfish developers and check if they can help me.
Would be very kind of u, if u continue my issue and dont treat it as solved.
Thanks a lot for your efforts.
