It works fine on our testing environments. We have both a local installation on Windows and a remote installation on Linux servers and none have the problem

It is possible that there is some extension which causes the problem, though its difficult to target which extension could cause this.

change all the short php tags <? to full tags <?php at the end of mod_j15paypal.php and it should work

should be 4 of them

Interesting, I'll update the code and make sure these are updated as you say!
