Is this module intended to have multiple Paypal items on a single page?

This works except there should be an option to add a Go to Cart or Checkout button.

Or is this not the intent of this module?

Yes you can do that. Just choose the appropriate parameters for Add To Cart options, and the rest should be handled by PayPal.
