			<title>Color in banners?</title>
			<link>http://www.dart-creations.com/joomla/joomla-tips-and-tricks/55-context-/-keyword-sensitive-joomla-banners.html#josc1297</link>
<description>I\'ve hunted high and low in the help sections of Joomla 1.5.8 as well as on their website.. is there a way to create banners and have a different color background than the background of the template so they stand out? We are developing a Joomla-based website for the history of our community that is going to be ad-supported and it would be nice if we could make the small banner ads with a different color so they stand out. Any suggestions? I tried creating a jpg of the ad and telling the banner to use that jpg, but if I take the text out, the ad disappears and the banner does not show up no matter what I do.

<description>Well, I suppose this is possible. However, I don\'t think there is a \&quot;universal\&quot; way to do it. Basically, you\'ll have to analyse the template you are planning to use, the use CSS to customize the banners. You\'ll need to identify the CSS Class / ID being used to display the banners, then tweak these accordingly.</description>
