Joomla 1.5 YouTube PluginThis plugin is a quick and easy way to display YouTube videos within articles in your Joomla 1.5 website. We also have the JooTube - Joomla YouTube module which allows you to insert YouTube videos as a module position.

To install the module, simple go to Extensions > Install / Uninstall, choose the file you have downloaded above and click on the upload and install button. Once you have installed it is very important that the plugin is enabled. Go to Extensions > Plugin Manager, and enable the Joomla YouTube plugin as show in the figure below. 
UsageOne the plugin has been enabled, you just need to insert the correct syntax into the article where you want the YouTube video to be embedded. Go to Content > Article Manager and choose the article where you want to show the YouTube video and insert the content similar to the example below and save the article. 
Usage: { youtube:videourl } where the url is simple the video address from YouYube. E.g. { youtube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47DT41m86N4 }. To specify the width and height use: { youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47DT41m86N4 200 100 } where 200 is the width and 100 is the height E.g. for video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47DT41m86N4 use: { youtube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47DT41m86N4 } Please remember to remove ALL spaces before and after opening and closing brackets and between colon. They are provided in the example such that they do not get replaced by the video. TroubleShootingIf you experience problems with the plugin, make sure that your editor is not inserting extra HTML code into the youtube plugin trigger. Take a look at the HTML in the editor and make sure it is clean. You can have as many videos as you want in any Joomla page.
