#54 - Keep Joomla updated quickly and easily

Keeping your Joomla website up-to-date is absolutely critical to the safety / security of your site. However, many users of Joomla don't like the headache of keeping their Joomla update. Well, a new component is now out which does the job for you at the click of a button!

A component which has caught our eye recently, is Joomla Magic Updater. The description looks too good to be true:

This component will update Joomla core from the official Joomla website to its final version with just a single click. The user can also provide a link for the update zip file. The component will fetch the file either from Joomla server or from the link the user has provided. The zip file will be extracted on the current joomla installation and will upgrade it to the final version.
