#57 - Sticky FrontPage Article

This tip comes straight from the Joomla Documentation website. Sometimes you need to have a particular article which is always the first article in your Joomla frontpage, a sticky frontpage article

This is especially useful when you have people submitting articles through the frontpage or other areas which might affect the ordering of your articles. However, you can have a single article which always stays on top. This done by simple going to the FrontPage manager, and set the article order to -1. This simple trick will ensure that no matter what the ordering is, your article will remain the first one in the frontpage.
